Las Vegas, Nevada – December 23, 2025 – El Dorado High School running back Ryan Estrada, of Panamanian and Mexican heritage, has been selected as the Inaugural 2025 Hispanic High School Football Player of the Year. The Award is presented to the most outstanding Hispanic high school football player who epitomizes great ability and integrity.
In a dominant 2025 senior season at El Dorado High School in El Paso, Texas, Estrada rushed for 2,801 yards and had 37 rushing touchdowns. Wearing the Aztecs' No. 1 jersey, he delivered an MVP-caliber performance that earned him the title of 1-5A Div 1 All-District Overall Most Valuable Player. A coveted four-star prospect, his outstanding final campaign solidified his national rankings as the No. 23 running back by ESPN and the No. 44 overall player in Texas by 247Composite.
Estrada was selected from a list of five ALL-AMERICAS honorees by the Hispanic Football Hall of Fame Selection Committee, comprised of Sandy Nunez (Chairperson, Founder Board Member & Award-winning Executive Producer), Judy Battista (NFL Senior National Columnist), Rolando Cantu (NFL Analyst, TNF En Español), Paul Gutierrez (Columnist for Raiders.com), Brandon Huffman (National Recruiting Editor, 247Sports), Moises Linares (Emmy Award-winning Bilingual Sports Journalist), Alex Marvez (Sirius XM NFL Radio Host), Armando Salguero (OutKick Senior NFL Writer), and John Sutcliffe (ESPN Deportes Reporter).

The recipient, along with the HFHOF College Football ALL-AMERICAS, will be honored at the Hispanic Football Hall of Fame Celebración de Fútbol, scheduled for May 5, 2026 (Cinco de Mayo).
Other finalists include LB OSCAR AGUILAR (Downey High School), QB JAKE FETTE (Del Valle High School), WR KAI MEZA (Corner Canyon High School), and DB ZETH THUES (Liberty High School).
